Our client is a corporation that is publicly listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange. It has invested in different segments of the power value chain and is expanding its interest in infrastructure development.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Legal Head will serve as the company’s chief legal officer and head of the legal department. He/She will be responsible for the legal affairs of the corporation, covering both corporate governance and compliance programs and other legal requirements of the company.
-He/she is seen to provide strategic direction on major legal and regulatory issues the company may face. Given that legal is a shared service, he/she shall oversee the delivery of legal services and resources.
JOB QUALIFICATION
• Should have served as a high ranking / senior legal executive in a corporate, or a senior partner in a highly reputable law firm with sufficient background on power and/or infrastructure (if possible), labor law and litigation.
• Should likewise have good networking skills with existing/established contacts deemed beneficial to the company.
• Non-Negotiable – Experience in mergers and acquisitions
• Experience working in a power company, utility, water (preferred but not required).
