Our client is an established multinational company with commercial, manufacturing, and distribution operations in the Philippines. The business serves automotive and industrial markets and forms part of a diversified global group.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Take ownership of the full finance and accounting function for the Philippine business, ensuring accurate and timely management and statutory reporting.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, and provide management with clear analysis of performance, profitability, and business priorities.
- Maintain strong internal controls, lead audit and risk activities, and ensure compliance with tax, statutory, PFRS, and IFRS requirements.
- Manage treasury, cash flow, working capital, credit and collections, loans, foreign exchange, and banking relationships.
- Partner with the General Manager and regional headquarters on business plans, investments, commercial decisions, and new projects.
- Oversee finance-related controls for procurement, supply chain, inventory, costing, logistics, and import or export transactions.
- Own the ERP and finance systems agenda, including system improvements, SAP migration, and the integrity of financial and operational data.
- Lead and develop a lean finance team while managing relationships with auditors, tax advisers, banks, insurers, and other external partners.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- An active Philippine CPA license is required.
- At least 20 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, audit, or controllership, including senior finance leadership; Big Four audit experience is an advantage.
- Direct experience leading end-to-end finance for the Philippine commercial or manufacturing entity of a multinational company is essential.
- A background in manufacturing, distribution, automotive, energy, FMCG, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, internal controls, risk, tax, and statutory compliance.
- Experience with ERP environments and finance-system changes is required; SAP or ERP migration exposure is an advantage.
- Able to work effectively with local and global leaders, communicate independent financial recommendations, and negotiate with external stakeholders.
Comfortable working in a lean, hands-on organization and reporting onsite in BGC from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including the first and last Saturdays of each month.
