JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Philippine office, aligning local operations with global objectives
  • Manage and develop a professional staff of 300+ employees across various service lines
  • Drive business growth and operational efficiency while maintaining quality standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including U.S. leadership, local business partners, professional associations, educational institutions, and government
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, professional standards, and firm policies
  • Oversee recruitment, talent development, and retention strategies
  • Manage the office’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Manage operational performance metrics such as employee utilization, productivity, and service delivery excellence.
  • Lead innovation initiatives and process improvements
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with our firm’s values, Aprio Fundamentals
  • Serve as the primary representative of the firm in the Philippine market

JOB QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Philippine CPA license or U.S. CPA license highly preferred
  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience in public accounting or related professional services
  • Minimum 8 years of senior leadership experience, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Strong understanding of U.S. and Philippine accounting standards and practices
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams
  • Exceptional communication skills in both English and Filipino
  • Demonstrated experience in managing cross-cultural teams and international stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and strategic planning capabilities
  • Experience working with Big 4 accounting firms or other international professional services organizations highly preferred
  • Previous experience managing offshore operations for U.S.-based companies
  • Experience in digital transformation and process automation initiatives
  • Strong network within the Philippine business community
