JOB DESCRIPTION
The COO will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the hospital’s day-to-day operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care while driving strategic growth and financial sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in hospital operations management, a keen strategic mindset, and a passion for healthcare excellence. It is imperative for the candidate to have the ability to translate the company vision into actionable, plans, programs and initiatives.
- Operational Leadership:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that promote continuous improvement and innovation
- Lead and manage a diverse team of department heads and administrators, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance
- Strategic Planning:
- Work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders in the planning and formulation of the long-term goals of the organization
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and affiliations that align with the organization’s mission and vision
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the annual operating budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for cost savings and revenue enhancement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with the finance team to secure funding for capital projects and other strategic initiatives.
- Quality and Patient Safety:
- Champion a culture of patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all accreditation and regulatory requirements.
