Our client is a PSE-listed power company with a diverse portfolio in renewable and thermal energy generation, distribution, and retail electricity supply.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Lead end-to-end strategy, drafting, negotiation, and administration of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction and other major project contracts.
- Structure commercial terms and risk allocation to protect the Owner’s position and manage contractual risks.
- Lead commercial negotiations with contractors, original equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and other key counterparties.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing and project procurement strategies, including tendering, vendor evaluation, and total cost of ownership-based recommendations.
- Manage post-award activities, including variations, claims, disputes, supplier performance, and contract close-out.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, or another relevant engineering discipline.
- At least 8 to 10 years of experience in project procurement and/or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction contract management, with ownership of major-project contracting.
- At least 3 to 5 years of leadership experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in contract drafting and redlining, commercial negotiations, and International Federation of Consulting Engineers or comparable contracting frameworks.
- Direct exposure to new-build power or large-scale capital expenditure projects is strongly preferred.
