Our client is a Cebu-based PSE-listed company engaged in electric power generation for both renewable and non – renewable energy, electric power distribution and retail electricity business. They also ventured into water and infrastructure business. They were incorporated in 1990 but has been in business since 1920s. The parent company has 94 FTEs and 352 total HC including those from the subsidiaries.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Conduct research and analysis on macroeconomic, market, regulatory, and industry developments, and assess their implications on the company’s strategy and performance.
- Monitor key economic indicators, market trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities across the energy, water and related sectors.
- Prepare research reports, industry outlooks, and management presentations, providing strategic insights and recommendations to support strategic planning, investments and business decisions.
- Lead strategic research initiatives by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and maintaining research databases.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or Data Sciences Minimum Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in research, market intelligence or a related field. Experience in energy, water or utility sector is preferred.
- Knowledge of macroeconomic and industry analysis
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to synthesize complex information into strategic insights
- Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills
