Our client is a PSE-listed power company with a diverse portfolio in renewable and thermal energy generation, distribution, and retail electricity supply.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop and implement category management and strategic sourcing strategies for the Mechanical Category to support long-term business objectives and operational requirements.
- Lead end-to-end contract management, including contract drafting, review, negotiation, implementation, administration, and lifecycle management.
- Lead negotiations for critical and high-value supplier contracts to achieve favorable commercial terms while balancing business and operational needs.
- Manage and develop a team of Strategic Sourcing Senior Specialists by providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, and guidance on complex sourcing and contracting activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify sourcing opportunities, strengthen supplier partnerships, and deliver value through strategic procurement initiatives.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Must have at least seven (7) years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, contract management, or other supply chain-related functions.
- Must be a PRC-licensed Mechanical Engineer, with Electrical or Chemical Engineering backgrounds also considered.
- Must have at least three (3) to five (5) years of people leadership experience, with a proven ability to manage and develop procurement or sourcing teams.
- Must have a strong background in strategic sourcing, end-to-end contract management, including contract drafting, and supplier negotiations for complex or high-value procurements.
- Must have experience in the power generation (thermal or renewable) or oil and gas industry, preferably handling technical or mechanical procurement categories.
