Magento Senior Project Manager

Project manager job for IT. Magento senior project manager position for a Metro Manila office, work-from-home until further notice.


Our client is a leading global digital marketing agency with a Center of Execution in Manila.


• Ability to manage large-scale, global commerce programs and projects across multi-discipline teams, with a focus on the quality of the final end-to-end product while adhering to scope, timing, and budget
• Working knowledge of leading commerce platforms such as Adobe/Magento Commerce, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, as well as the technology ecosystems within which they live in order to be able to draft and review project plans and support day-to-day delivery operations centered around each (knowledge of Content Management systems is a plus)
• Support and reinforce project hygiene such as status and task tracking, documentation, communication protocols, and managing the scope of work, updates, risks, impediments (RAID Logs) and changes across all stakeholders and the team both internally and externally
• Plan and initiate different stages of the project lifecycle, including Discovery, Define, Design, Develop, and Deploy
• Partner with the Client Services team to ensure alignment across project status, deliverables, and issues; as well as support their ongoing efforts and communications with Clients


• 5+ years of experience in a project management role (digital/commerce agency preferred)
• Ability to manage up to leadership teams, down to members of the team, and across to geographically dispersed teammates
• Digital commerce experience and knowledge of SDLC is a must
• Experience in planning, organizing, and executing projects of varying complexity, delivering them within specified timeframes and budgets; previous experience managing projects of similar size in a systems integration environment
• Ability to define and ensure objective measures of complex programs and experience in tracking and assessing projects based on project plans, budgets and resources
• Ability to plan, lead and support requirements gathering sessions and establishing task prioritization
• Exceptional interpersonal skills centered around communication (both verbal and written), teamwork facilitation and alignment, mediation, and negotiation
• Knowledge of cloud-based software and project management tools including, but not limited to Atlassian Suite, Smartsheet, and MS Office
• Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities at all levels of both internal and external organizations
• Motivated to drive excellence in service delivery, methodology, and operations (track record of managing successful projects)
• Ability to manage client expectations and manage scope throughout the lifecycle of the project; constantly and consistently communicate with the client and schedule, hold and lead client meetings as necessary
• The ability to identify key influencers (on the client side) and develop a strong partnership throughout the lifecycle of the project in coordination with the Client Services team
• Expert level experience in analyzing business goals and metrics, understanding best practices while maintaining clients’ strategic direction in partnership with the Client Services team
