JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is primarily responsible for producing business intelligence reports using tools such as SSIS and SSRS. The main function in this role will be to use ad-hoc reporting to present technical information that we can use to develop business solutions. Other responsibilities include making enhancements to our current ETL processes and providing database support, so our ideal candidate has experience scripting SQL database queries and can modify these queries based on specific customer needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information.
- Analyze documentation and technical specifications to determine intended functionality.
- Implement BI reports based on the above requirements.
- Analyze existing reports and optimize them for standardization.
- Work with business unit to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data.

- Proficiency in T-SQL and developing SQL queries utilizing SSMS.
- Able to create and optimize stored procedures.
- Experience developing SSRS/SSIS within Visual Studio.
- Knowledge of TFS/Azure Dev OPS Server.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (Desired but not required) - Familiarity with PostgreSQL and/or UC4.
- Familiarity with BI Tools such as Incorta or Tableau.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - A minimum of Bachelor’s degree required; or equivalent experience.
- 5-8 years of development experience.
- Knowledgeable of relevant software products.
LANGUAGE SKILLS - English
- Good oral and written communication skills.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Basic accounting knowledge required.
REASONING ABILITY - Strong analytical ability.
- Strong pattern recognition ability.
