Our client is a Cebu-based PSE-listed company engaged in electric power generation for both renewable and non-renewable energy, electric power distribution and retail electricity business. They also ventured into water and infrastructure business.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The position shall be responsible for the following:
- Project Finance and Loan Procurement
- Lead in the negotiation with bank officers in procuring loan and project financing facilities
- Establishment and Renewal of Short-term Credit Lines
- Maintain short-term credit facilities for the parent company, subsidiaries and operating companies
- Establish new credit lines with counterparty banks to ensure availability of short-term funding for working capital management
- Loan Compliance and Monitoring
- Bank Relationship Management
- Treasury Support and Advisory Services for BD
- Provide support to business development (BD) in terms of treasury requirements such as bid securities, credit line certifications, and other required bank certifications
- Provide advisory to BD on financing terms, strategies and debt sizing for modelling purposes
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Graduate of a 4-year course, preferably a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Accounting or any Finance-related course
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an Accounting, Treasury or Finance environment
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Proficient knowledge on capital markets and debt financing
- Attendance in BAP’s Treasury Certificate Program
