Our client is a Cebu-based PSE-listed company engaged in electric power generation for both renewable and non – renewable energy, electric power distribution and retail electricity business. They also ventured into water and infrastructure business. They were incorporated in 1990 but has been in business since 1920s. The parent company has 94 FTEs and 352 total HC including those from the subsidiaries.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for both short-term and long-term planning.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including business development, to assess financial assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with senior management and cross-functional teams to guide strategic initiatives.
- Analyze financial impacts of projects and align them with organizational objectives.
- Lead digitalization initiatives to improve data workflows, accuracy, and decision-making.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analyses; identify drivers of variance, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and present variance reports to senior management.
- Compile income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for internal and external stakeholders.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or corporate finance.
- CFA, CPA, or CMA certifications are advantageous but not required.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
