JOB DESCRIPTION
- Oversee cost accounting activities related to inventory, direct costs, fixed assets, and capital expenditures, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
- Review and analyze actual costs versus budgets and forecasts, identify variances, and provide insights to support management decision-making and cost optimization initiatives.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting activities by preparing analyses, schedules, and recommendations related to operational and capital costs.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls while coordinating internal and external audit requirements.
- Supervise and develop accounting team members through work allocation, performance management, coaching, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or a related accounting discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in Cost Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inventory Accounting, General Accounting, or related functions.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and cost management.
- At least 1 year of leadership experience, preferably with direct reports; candidates with strong project leadership experience may also be considered.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable business insights.
