JOB DESCRIPTION
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company. Reporting to the General Manager (GM), the CFO will work closely with the GM in driving growth and exploring new business opportunities. This role involves strategic planning, financial management, and ensuring the fiscal health of the organization. The CFO will also provide critical support to the GM on the feasibility and profitability of different projects and new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and profitability.
Collaborate with the GM to identify and evaluate new business opportunities. - Financial Management and Reporting:
Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. - Support to General Manager:
Evaluate the feasibility and profitability of projects and new business opportunities.
Provide financial insights and support for strategic decision-making. - Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role.
- Proven experience in financial planning, risk management, and investment strategies.
- Strong knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience in the infrastructure or utilities sector is highly desirable.
