JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for the smooth logistics operations in inbound, put-away and outbound processes or products and equipment by instituting control measures and standards to serve customer requirements in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ensures accuracy of inventory in terms of location, quantity and batch.
- Implements company rules and policies, health and safety guidelines at work, and quality standards for the purpose of promoting operational efficiencies.
- Monitors warehouse activities by doing regular quality check in the implementation of the processes to ensure compliance of the Quality Management Systems.
- Collates data and do comparative analysis of performance to serve as point of reference for process improvements.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or engineering
- At least 10 years of experience in warehouse operations; 3 to 5 years of which in a managerial capacity
- Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and engage the team and develop a high performing and results-driven team
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of warehousing key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Working knowledge of SAP or related warehouse management systems
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills
