JOB DESCRIPTION
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead, develop, and mentor the distribution team, including supervisors, warehouse staff, and logistics personnel. Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments.
- Strategic Operations Management: Develop and implement an integrated approach to logistics planning, inventory optimization, timeliness, and quality assurance by leveraging data-driven forecasting, real-time tracking, and automated solutions to enhance distribution efficiency, minimize stock discrepancies, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Operational Excellence: Drive continuous process improvement to optimize workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance productivity. Streamline supply chain processes, reduce errors, and increase scalability, ensuring agility, resilience, and long-term competitiveness.
- Optimization: Implement workforce optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, and performance.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in business/commerce/engineering or any related field
- 15 to 20 yrs of experience in warehousing and distribution
- Must have experience in FMCG or 3PL (3rd party Logistics)
