JOB DESCRIPTION
• Work with various Departments to ensure the viability of the new/ existing product under local (and offshore, if applicable).
• In charge of a product throughout its product lifecycle.
• Overall product governance: manage products through their lifecycle to ensure that they meet legal and regulatory requirements.
• Head and manage the Product Committee
• Ensure product reviews are conducted at least annually
• Market research. Keep abreast with industry/ regulatory changes (TOAP, PIFA, etc.)
• Develop and deliver training to technical sales support
• Manage development and marketing projects to deliver to plan
• Overall management of the Product Manager and ensures Product Champions are properly serviced.
• Central point person for any approval and inquires with regulators.
• Comply with regulatory requirements, company and group policies; maintain compliance awareness
Competencies required:
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant rules and regulations of the financial markets, asset management and trust industries
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Marketing-oriented, quick thinker, creative
• Detail oriented
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point
• High level of integrity

JOB QUALIFICATION
• Relevant educational qualifications, preferably a university degree in business or finance-related subject
• With a wide knowledge of economics, financial markets and asset management products
