JOB DESCRIPTION
The Water Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing strategic business opportunities in the water sector. This role involves creating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, assessing market trends, and contributing to the overall growth and success of Aboitiz InfraCapital’s water infrastructure portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities and trends in the water sector.
Analyze competition and market conditions to inform decision-making.
Business Strategy: Develop and implement business development strategies for the water infrastructure portfolio.
Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals. - Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Negotiate and structure deals to maximize value for all parties involved.
Proposal Development:
Lead the development of proposals for water infrastructure projects.
Work closely with technical teams to ensure proposals align with project requirements and objectives. - Project Evaluation:
Evaluate potential water infrastructure projects for feasibility and financial viability.
Collaborate with technical and financial teams to assess project risks and opportunities. - Regulatory Compliance:
Stay informed about relevant regulations and ensure that all business development activities comply with legal requirements.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on business development activities, progress, and achievements.
Contribute to strategic planning sessions and business reviews
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Environmental Science).
- Proven experience in business development within the water or infrastructure sector.
- Strong understanding of water industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess project feasibility and financial aspect.
