JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Philippines

Job Purpose

This is a business and compliance role in the Market Finance Office.

The incumbent will participate actively in all issues related to the reporting and analysis of financial performance for our retail business and support budgeting/forecasting processes. Will also ensure appropriate compliance to financial related policies; controls are in place and the market’s financial teams are adhering to regional/global policies and procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide consolidated EBIT data for the market within the specified time
  • Provide periodic insightful analysis on the Market’s performance in the prescribed management reporting format
  • Review of client / country performance, collaborate with finance / business teams to obtain underlying reasons / drivers for the result
  • Support annual budget and as-required forecast submission for the market by working with the countries, commercial and corporate team
  • Provide guidance on the proper usage of cost center, service type, charge codes, profit sharing, and vendor logistics accounts
  • Review qualitative and quantitative analysis for all request for funds for capital expenditure
  • Prepare monthly and ad-hoc management reports.
  • Ensure that appropriate compliance to financial related policies and controls are in place and that market’s financial teams are adhering to group policies and procedures on a local level
  • Provide support for ad-hoc projects undertaken by the Company

JOB QUALIFICATION

  • Possess an Accounting degree, with 5 to 6 years of people leadership and management accounting experience, preferably in the luxury retail industry.
  • Experience in inventory management and control
  • Demonstrated expertise in local accounting and finance policies and statutory guidelines including but not limited to tax, customs and treasury
  • Experience in SAP and Advance-level MS office skills (Excel/PowerPoint/Access/Word)

  • Articulate the EBIT data to the stakeholders
  • Provide insightful analysis of the business performance on a periodic basis
  • Provide analysis of market performance that are useful in business decision making
  • Proper recording of revenue and costs Annual budget and quarterly forecast are aligned with the business direction and submitted timely.
