JOB DESCRIPTION
- Good Knowledge of PFRS, USGAAP, Philippines Local Laws etc.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements
- Finance control, general accounting; timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts, financial reporting, and compliances.
- Co-ordinate with various teams viz. Tax, Payroll, Banking, AP etc. and to ensure appropriate accounting
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions & financial reporting
- Documentation of various key files/policies- including making of accounting policies/SOPs
- Managing day to day accounting function- including Bank Recs and related checks and balances/schedule/reporting
- Develop & document business processes and accounting policies to maintain & strengthen internal controls
- Assist with improvements to technical processes and system implementation.
- Respond to all internal and statutory audit technical queries to ensure that all their requirements are addressed on time.
- Hands on experience in preparing accruals, amortization JE & posting
- Ensure accurate accounting of intercompany transactions & elimination
- Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation and presentation of financial statements for Philippines entity under PFRS/applicable local GAAPs & coordinate with auditors for completion of statutory audits within due date
- Prepare analysis and variance commentary on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Understanding of fixed assets mechanism along with FAR
- Drive process Improvements & undertake new projects
- Clearing of legacy balances
- Dashboarding & presentation skills
- Working knowledge of AP and O2C will be preferred
- Ability to build network quickly and create strong relationships -Pro-active and can-do attitude
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Equivalent CA or post graduation degree in Finance is mandatory
- 5 or more years of accounting experience
- Good Inter-personal Skill
- Effective Communication (Verbal/Written Skills)
- Experience on Oracle is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, word, power point etc.
