JOB DESCRIPTION
Developing new user-facing features using React and NodeJS
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimization of components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Design front-end architectures for component library integration with multiple platforms
JOB QUALIFICATION
Required Qualifications
• At least 3 – 5 years of Information Technology experience
• Experience with React, Redux and any CMS platform
• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
• Optimisations on a current component library (APIs, component Library, …)
• Implementation and development around motion, a11y, design tokens, theming and more
• Hands-on when needed on bug fixes, backlog, support tickets
• With a good sense of User Experience and Design as a whole
• With the ability to establish a good comms flow between stakeholders, designers and devs in the team and our consumers.
• Overall Frontend Architecture Evolution and Scalability
• Good experience with Unit Testing (Jest and Jasmine)
• Experience with code versioning tools (GIT based)
• Experience with Design Systems implementation most valued (multi-brand scenarios)
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React and its core principles
• Experience with popular React workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with E2E tests (Cypress, Applitools, Percy…)
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Always with a mindset for benchmarking and optimisation
