JOB DESCRIPTION
The Social Media Coordinator will report to the Director of Marketing and collaborate closely with the Digital Acquisitions Manager, who are both located in the corporate head office in Singapore. This is a pivotal role, working closely with the content management team on social media strategies to broadcast, maintain and grow our brand presence across all essential channels while also generating a clearly defined ROI. Also contributing to a dynamic campaign calendar for each region and target demographic, reporting on sales data and marketing metrics, liaising with various departments and freelance bloggers, SMIs, and vloggers.
• Support marketing day-to-day operations including marketing campaigns, promotions and projects
• Maintain social media campaign calendar
• Assist in creating collaterals and content required for digital campaigns in advance
• Work closely with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative, appealing and conforms with brand guidelines
• Report on changing consumer behavior and implement strategies to reach emerging or changing markets
• Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies and demonstrate high proficiency in all social media marketing tools
• Maintain a budget
• Arrange and coordinate collaborations with bloggers, vloggers and social media influencers who match the brand guidelines and then effectively measure and report on the value of each collaboration
• Develop, implement and manage the social media strategy for each region and subsequent target demographics
• Define most important social media KPIs and produce clear reporting, identifying success points from each campaign
• Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
JOB QUALIFICATION
• Ideally a graduate – BS in Marketing and/or BA Communications
• Must have at least two years’ experience in a social media administration/coordinators role, with proven ability to build and maintain successful digital campaigns for luxury brands
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
• Fluent in English with exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
• Confident with writing emails, note taking and reporting, maintaining a project/task list, organizing files
• Solid understanding of SEO and web traffic marketing metrics
• Experience with building audience and buyer persona research
• Good understanding of social media KPIs
• Familiarity with web design and publishing
• Excellent multitasking skills
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform within a team environment
• Highly organized, trustworthy and presentable
• Eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions
• Must be confident to share ideas and suggestions for best market practice of their region
• Photography and videography skills are also desired but not essential
