JOB DESCRIPTION
The overall purpose of the role is to be a Subject Matter Expert in his/her area of expertise. Further main tasks are as follows:
• Assess current compensation and benefit programs and recommend changes and improvements for compliance and competitiveness
• Coach HR and local management on compensation and benefits philosophy, positioning and practice
• Manage the administration of local salary structure
• Conduct studies of compensation practices and market rates, analyze internal and external pay equities,
• Take recommendations for specific changes and/or general adjustments
• Manage the development and implementation of merit and promotion increase programs linked to performance, and develop and monitor annual salary increase budgets
• Manage and implement the Company mandated variable incentive programs (both-long – term and short-term)
• Participate in, and manage appropriate third-party salary surveys to ensure appropriate assessment of the relevant salary market to assure that compensation objectives are achieved
• Take responsibility for viewing current benefit programs in specific countries and recommend changes and improvements for compliance and competitiveness
• Build the strategic partnership with our Global benefits broker focusing on developing a market competitive benefits structure by country as well as the automation of benefits administration, if applicable in future
• Implement new benefit programs and manage existing benefit plans with the aim of optimizing cost effectiveness
• Lead the documentation and regular review /updating of policies and procedures relating to Compensation and benefits
• Lead the preparation of profit plan for salaries and benefits
JOB QUALIFICATION
• College degree preferably in Psychology, Human Resources, Behavioral Science or any related courses
• At least 5 years of experience in HR as a generalist or hands on compensation analyst
• Prior exposure to compensation strategy and planning
• Experience in shared service center is an advantage
• Exceptional strong analytical skills to effectively analyze data and create meaningful, understandable reports and metrics
• Ability to collaborate with other teams and also to work independently
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required (Pivot Tables, charts, logic statements)
• Thoroughness and high attention to detail is required
• Knowledgeable in all facets of HR
• Experience in HRIS, but willing to work manually.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff
• Strong and strategic business understanding and an excellent ability to understand and manage complex situations in a fast paced environment
