JOB DESCRIPTION
• Plan, develop and implement strategy for operational management and development so as to meet agreed organizational performance plans within agreed budgets and timelines
• Monitor, measure and report on operational issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales
• Manage and develop direct reporting staff
• Contribute to the evaluation and development of operational strategy and performance in co-optation with the executive team
• Key Account Management of identified top customers
• Liaise with other departmental mangers and ensure they are fully informed of operational objectives, purposes and achievements
• Liaise and maintain relationship with the company’s network
JOB QUALIFICATION
• At least 7 years experience in international airfreight and/or sea freight industry
• Preferably with existing client portfolio
• Excellent and updated knowledge of the local market
• Good people skills
