JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Corporate Communications Head you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive corporate communications strategy that aligns with our corporate goals and values. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s public image, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Communications: Develop and implement a strategic corporate communications plan that effectively communicates the company’s mission, vision, and values to internal and external stakeholders.
- Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers. Proactively pitch stories and secure media coverage to enhance the company’s visibility.
- Crisis Management: Lead crisis communication efforts, ensuring a swift and effective response to any potential issues or emergencies that may impact the company’s reputation.
- Internal Communications: Oversee internal communication initiatives to keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with company objectives.
- Brand Management: Protect and enhance the company’s brand reputation by maintaining consistent messaging and visual identity across all communication channels.
- Public Relations: Develop and execute public relations campaigns, including product launches, corporate events, and community engagement programs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with investors, customers, community organizations, and other external stakeholders to build positive relationships and address concerns.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in corporate communications, with a background in the energy or power sector strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in media relations, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute complex communication plans.
- Familiarity with sustainability and corporate social responsibility reporting is a plus.
- Proficiency in utilizing communication tools, software, and platforms.
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic industry environment.
