JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive fixed asset register, including accurate records of acquisition, disposals, transfers, ants of fixed assets depreciation calculations.
- Conduct regular physical audits of fixed assets to verify their existence, condition, and location.
- Establish and maintain policies and procedures for the capitalization, depreciation, and disposal of fixed assets in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with cross- functional teams to ensure proper recording and classification of fixed asset transactions in the accounting system.
- Monitor and analyze capital expenditure requests, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints and approval processes.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field, CPA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in fixed asset management.
- Thorough knowledge of fixed asset accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem – solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
