Head of Trade Marketing


Our client is the biggest fintech company in the Philippines.


  • Supervise specialized teams covering Brand/Product Operations, Channel Strategy, Merchandising Operations, Field Execution, and Online Affiliate Channels Development directly.
  • Provide guidance and support for team leads’ growth, conduct performance assessments, and define objectives.
  • Actively engage with both internal and external stakeholders, including C-level executives, to synchronize GCash’s trade marketing strategies with overarching organizational objectives.
  • Offer strategic guidance in formulating and executing comprehensive trade marketing strategies aligned with the company’s long-term goals.
  • Oversee the gathering, analysis, and interpretation of market data to discern trends, identify opportunities, and address challenges.
  • Ensure that all trade marketing activities are guided by data-driven decision-making.
  • Establish and uphold governance frameworks concerning contractual agreements, pricing strategies, and compliance with legal regulations.
  • Supervise the commercial aspects of partnerships, sponsorships, and other trade marketing relationships.
  • Develop budgets and allocate resources to ensure the cost-effective implementation of trade marketing activities, achieving the desired return on investment.


  • With a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in trade marketing or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • With strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • With experience in establishing and maintaining commercial governance structures.
  • With exceptional skill in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
