JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures in line with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct data mapping exercises to identify and document the flow of personal data within the organization.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate privacy risks for new projects, initiatives, or systems involving the processing of personal data.
- Develop and deliver data protection training programs for employees.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant local regulations.
- Conduct periodic internal audits to assess compliance with data protection policies.
- Assess and monitor data protection practices of third-party vendors and partners.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- In-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, with a focus on banking and financial services compliance.
- Proficient in data mapping, data classification, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Comprehensive understanding of the bank’s regulatory environment.
