I was thankful I got enlightened on the core values, the Mission and Visions of Ksearch. I actually kind of felt a lot of gray areas, even confused, about it all. Reading them first in the internet was shallow, I thought. Now I realize how powerful the principles and ideals KSearch as a company represents. They are all very inspiring for me to be able to relate with and be among these young passionate people I work with that make those company mission and visions happen.
Thankfully, now I can have my own personal strategies within KSearch and I don’t mind sharing them as follows:
- I want to be able to consistently deliver quality work
- I’d like the opportunity of working with multiple clients
- And I’d like to be recognized as the KSearch Rookie of the Year
Now I also appreciate the fine distinction between being effective vs. being efficient. MRG explained that one can be doing something that is not a priority, or something that is outside the scope of the work, or simply the wrong thing in a very efficient manner, and therefore not effective. Being effective addresses what needs to be done urgently and doing it in a way that it produces the right kind of results, he expounded.
In terms of Core Values, these I experienced in a big way working on the Citibank project. I enjoyed and admired the supervision and dedication of Ms. Ross. She clearly exhibited all of KSearch’s core values (teamwork, quick response, professionalism, commitment to quality and value proposition). I thought I saw the same kind of behaviors in Ms. Ann when I worked with her for Chevron.
Thanks, MRG, the orientation was a good shot in the arm and is going to be a good guide for us newbies moving forward. More importantly perhaps, we know that you care for our professional development throughout.
