Dr. Philip C. Zerillo, Dean of SMU’s Postgraduate Professional Programs, led SMU’s 14-member delegation. Mr. Manuel R. Guillermo, KSearch’s CEO, together with Ms. Karmeli U. It is known for its interactive and technologically enabled teaching methods in small class sizes. The institution generates leading-edge research with global impact and produces broad-based, creative and entrepreneurial leaders for the knowledge-based economy. Home to over 8,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students, SMU’s schools include those for Accountancy, Business, Economics, Information Systems, Law, and Social Sciences, offering a wide range of bachelor’s, master’s and PhD degree programs in various disciplines.
KSearch, one of the Philippines’ leading executive search firms and a member firm of the global executive search group Horton International , has been assisting the senior executive and managerial requirements of mostly multinational companies operating in the Philippines and large Philippine conglomerates since 1999.
This networking collaboration has marked a convergence of advocacies of SMU and KSearch in the areas of professional management education, leader development, and talent development. Essentially, SMU aims to develop business leaders. KSearch, for its part, is in constant quest of such leaders as its core business activity. Collaboration is the cornerstone of SMU’s strategies for developing and entrenching its partnerships with the industry, enabling them to gain extensive corporate partnerships throughout the region.
