MARIO T. MANANGHAYA Chairman of the Board

Mario is a Certified Public Accountant with post graduate studies from international universities best known for developing senior business executives, Harvard Business School and the Asian Institute of Management. He had a successful career in the accounting profession and became a Philippine partner of three of the world’s largest accounting firms, namely the former Arthur Andersen & Co (SGV & Co.), former Coopers & Lybrand, and KPMG.

After his retirement from SGV & Co. as Head of the Audit Practice, he became Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of a company that pioneered in mobile telecommunications in the Philippines. His latest major role in accountancy was being Chairman and Managing Partner of KPMG Laya Mananghaya & Co. for several years until his retirement in 2007. At present, Mario is Chairman of KSearch and several other companies engaged in varied businesses. He is also a business advisor to various organizations in varied businesses.

MANUEL R. GUILLERMO President & Managing Director

A seasoned executive search provider for senior level positions in various industries for mostly multinational companies and local conglomerates, Manny Guillermo heads the KSearch Asia Consulting, Inc. as President and Managing Director since its inception. A retired global partner of Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) and Consulting Partner of SGV & Co., Philippines’ largest audit and consultancy firm, he has wide experience in general, project and change management.

Prior to heading the Change Management Services Division of Andersen Consulting in Lagos Nigeria, his consulting engagements for SGV & Co. were concentrated on World Bank and Asian Development Bank – funded projects in such countries as Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Bangladesh and Myanmar, among others, covering urban development, airport development, fisheries, plantation agriculture, electricity generation, etc. First of his 25-year expatriate stints was as General Manager and Board member for 10 years of a major consumer finance company in Thailand. He is active in the Business Processing Association of the Philippines and the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, among others. He took Harvard Business School’s Program for Management (PMD-22) in 1971.

ANTONIO G. PEDRO Chief Finance Officer

Tony, a Certified Public Accountant, is the Chief Finance Officer of KSearch. Throughout his work history, he has assumed the Chief Finance Officer role for various local and multinational companies, where he was overall responsible for finance, administration, and human resource functions. These companies include KPMG Laya Mananghaya & Co., Pilipinas Makro, Isla Communications, and Edward Keller Philippines, among others.

He has completed Management Development Programs from the Nijenrode University in The Netherlands, Columbia University in New York, and Sundridge Park Management Center in the United Kingdom.

Co-founded and heads KSearch, Manny is a seasoned executive search consultant for senior level positions (CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CIOs and functional Vice Presidents) covering multinationals and local conglomerates in varied industrial sectors.

KARMELI LOVE U. KINTANAR Vice President & Practice Area Head – Finance, Banking, and BPO

Karmeli is a Principal Consultant specialising in Finance, Banking and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), which represent a dominant segment of the business portfolio. She is an integral member of the firm's senior management. Karmeli has led major long-ongoing search engagements for the firm's most significant clients, including Chevron, Citibank, and Accenture, among others. Her role focuses on the overall management and maintenance of said clients and developing strategies with the view toward addressing all of their current and future executive and recruitment requirements. Karmeli is a key contributor to regular strategic planning process and business development initiatives.

RUBY-ANN C. BARCELONA-BENITEZ Consulting Director & Practice Area Head – Human Resources, Sales & Marketing, and ICT

Ruby is a Principal Consultant specialising in Human Resources, Sales and Marketing, and Information Communications Technology. Ruby also headed the personnel administration of the firm for 10 years until 2009, being responsible for, among others, the initial design and ongoing execution of the company's Performance Management System. Ruby has built a pioneer practice for HR functions, delivering successfull hires of mostly senior level HR positions for multinational and large Philippine corporations. Her industry niches for HR, Sales and Marketing, and ICT positions include the Pharmaceutical, Telecommunications, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Business Process Outsourcing and Manufacturing, among others.
